  • On his arrival in New Zealand he used the the names Faa McMaster/MacMaster but in fact he was born William McMaster in Dundee, Scotland, on 4th June 1866.

    Husband of Mabel Phillipa nee Young

    Initial attestation declares he served with the Blackwatch for 13 years

    Attested twice, embarked in 1915; returned in 1916 and attested again for short term service in stores.

    Listed by BDM as MacMaster AWMM
