  • I have such fond memories of you Uncle Ben. My Mum adored you but we really didn't see enough of you back in the 1950's. I treasure the memories of sitting on your knee in the afternoon son in Sandringham. It is fantastic to discover you were at the Battle of Chunik Bair. Now you are my War Hero for ever as well as my favourite 'Uncle'. You were wounded and lucky to survive Gallipoli I have found your photo when you enlisted. A very handsome young man. I would love to find out where you are buried now and where you are resting at peace. You are remembered with much love. Thank you for your sacrifice. Lewis
