  • Sonny or Turk as he was known by was born in Dashwood Street on Boxing Day, 1891. He served in World War Onewith the Machine Gun Squadron as a Trooper. At 51 he died and was buried in the returned serviceman section of Omaka Cemetery. He never married nor had children. AWMM
