  • Victor Mulligan was my maternal grandfather. He had three daughters, Janice, Fay and Betsey. My mother was Fay Mulligan/Manson. I have two sons Robbie and Ben Harrison. I was named after my grandfather who was known to all his seven grandchildren as Pupa. My brother was also named after Pupa as Crichton Manson but with a different spelling. My son Robbie is named after Pupa's father. Pupa farmed near Ashburton. He never spoke of the war. I have handed to me by my father David Manson, all the photo's taken of the places Pupa served in during the First World War and have also obtained his extensive service records. One of my cousin's has his service records which I was fortunate to see in April,2015. They are in very safe hands.
