  • Charles Ayre was my maternal grandmothers brother,,, he lived in Bungonia NSW before moving to New Zealand where I believe he was a shearer before joining the New Zealand army. His name is on a war memorial plaque in Belmore Park in Goulburn NSW Australia and also at the Bungonia Cemetery in Bungonia NSW Australia.
