    • Bret George was the son of John and Lillie George, of Otway Estate, Waihou, Te Aroha, Piako, New Zealand.

      He was the second youngest child and much loved by his three sisters.He drew and was in the choir.

      He was a grocer at Manukau Stores, Trafalgar Street, Onehunga in his brother-in-law's shop. AWMM
