    • Transferred to Royal Flying Corp, 27th Squadron February 1917. AWMM
    • Born 20 June 1894 - at England.
      Occupation prior to enlistment for war service was Motor Engineer - at Christchurch.
      Enlisted - 17 August 1914 - at Christchurch. Posted to Canterbury Infantry Regiment, 1st Battalion, Main Body, NZEF.
      On 16 October 1914 Private Skinner embarked from New Zealand for overseas war service with the Main Body, NZEF.
      On 12 April 1915 Private Skinner embarked from Egypt for war service at Gallipoli. Medically evacuated - twice - from Gallipoli.
      On 2 February 1917 Private Skinner was discharged from the NZEF so he could take up a Commission with the Royal Flying Corp. Public - Jenifer - Researcher - 23 April 2018 - Military File.
