  • I am grateful for this opportunity to pay my respects and appreciation, to you my great grandfather
Kiri Te Awekotuku. I am your great grand daughter Zania, I am the eldest daughter of Marvin and his māmā & my nana is Hinepuia your beautiful daughter (who I miss dearly). Although we have never met. I am grateful for this special opportunity to acknowledge your WW1 service to Aotearoa & we will always remember you in hearts.

Our deepest respect & we love you always.

Zania, My husband Nikora and our children Tamamutu, Karrah-Lee, Hoera, Ariana, Nikora, Amelia & Te Rangiita ❤❤

  • To my Mothers Father, Kiri Te Awekotuku. Words can not express the admiration I hold for you as i've come to learn of the honourable yet tragic and horrific nature one would have experienced during your time of service. You gave 4 yrs and 290 days of complete and selfless service for your fellow man which in turn was service for our God. Much Love and appreciation Granddad. You will forever be remembered and looked up to.

    "one proud grandson"
