  • Son of Andrew and Matilda Graham, of Awatuna, Taranaki

    The Official History records Private Graham was buried near Wulverghem, France.

    Embarked Wellington, 9 October 1915; disembarked Suez, 15 November 1915.
    Embarked Alexandria for Mersa Matruh, 29 December 1916; disembarked, 15 February 1916.
    Transferred to No 3 NZ Machine Gun Company, Moascar, 1 March 1916.
    Proceeded to join the British Expeditionary Force, France, 6 April 1916.
    Found guilty, 4 March 1917, of when on Active Service conduct to the prejudice of good order and military discipline in that he in two letters written by him & dated 1.3.17 did make adverse comments on his superior officer: awarded 28 days' Field Punishment No 2 and forfeited 28 days' pay.
    Killed in action, 29 April 1917.
