  • The Auckland Museum Library's manuscripts collection contains an obituary for Frederick von Sturmer, transcribed from the 'Waikato Times', 26 August 1953. This same collection also contains several more family obituaries and a von Sturmer family pedigree chart outlining the descendants of Jakob and Johanna Sturmer (nee Marsel), who emigrated from Frankfurt-on-Oder, Germany, to England in 1749.
