    • 16 Nov 1916 - Mr and Mrs W. Walters, of Roebuck Road, have been advised that their son, Fitter Milton Walters, is now in the No. 1 N.Z. General Hospital, England, suffering from wounds inflicted by high explosive shells in "Dennis" Wood. He received four wounds, three of which are almost healed. He was unfortunate enough to have the muscles blown out of his leg, which will mean his being invalided home shortly.
