  • Douglas was my Great Uncle. His brother Harold was my Grandfather and I remember his sorrow every Anzac day as he remembered his fallen brother. It is fitting to remember him on this 100th year commemoration of Armistice day. Tony M
    Report
  • Douglas Wilson Gray remembered especially this year being 100 years since his departure on his great adventure first to Egypt and then to Gallipoli and his untimely death just days after his arrival. His name lives on with three nephews bearing his Christian names and his medals and paybook and postcards held by his now, 100 year old niece who still lives in his father's home. R I P.
