London Gazette 18.1.1919 "For the past two years 8/2327 Staff Sergeant Earl Clifford Wills has been Orderly Room Sergeant of this Battalion. His work has been characterised of great ability and devotion to duty under all conditions, and in spite of the difficulties resulting from the moving warfare of the past six weeks he has kept the Battalion records in a particularly satisfactory condition. Whether the orderly room is in the shelled area or otherwise has made no difference to this NCO, who is always exceptionally cool under what are often trying conditions." AWMM
