  • Dear Granddad, You taught me many good lessons which I have never forgotten and passed down to my children. You were a brave man to do what you did. Gordon was a great son for you and you would have been proud of the way he ran his life and how he contributed to society. By now I expect you have met him again. Say hi to Grandma as I think of her often as well. I maintain my interest in rugby and remember that we nearly made it to the All Black rugby trial in Masterton. Thank you for being a man I remember with love and respect.
