      Brother of Private Eric Percy Greenwood, NZEF service # 54684, of the NZ Machine Gun Section (Specialist Company), 30th Reinforcements, NZEF - who was killed in action - on 4 November 1918 - during the battle, by New Zealand troops, for the liberation of the French town of Le Quesnoy. Public - Jenifer - Researcher - 22 December 2016 - Military file of Private Eric Percy Greenwood : AWMM
    • Also brother of (2) Lieutenant Roy Harry Greenwood - served Australian forces (AIF) Regimental service # 72; Born Ashburton, New Zealand. Enlisted 30 April 1915 at Brisbane, Queensland, Australia (aged 18 years). Served France & Belgium. Wounded in action multiple times. Returned to Australia - on 18 January 1919 - aboard HT 'Ulysses'.
