    • Wiliam John Barclay born 5th March 1874, Auckland. His parents were Adam and Anne Barclay. He died 25th April 1967 Invercargill and is buried in the Queenstown Cemetery. William married Violet Evelyn Anna Kate Petersen of Mauriceville who was a nurse. They met on the surgical ship Maheno in 1916-1917 and had my grandfather Stephen Decarteret Barclay 26th August 1918 who was a general surgeon. He died in 2002 in Leamington Cambridge NZ.
