  • Arthur George Dennis was my grandfather. His eldest son Arthur Stanley Dennis was my father. Granddad passed away when dad was serving in the Middle East November 1943. Grandad early passing was due to gas poison he received in France. He was consequently sent a NZ Military Hospital, where and quite fortuitously met my grandmother Madge Adelaide Dennis need Bradrick.
    They married at St Paul's Methodist Church, St Albans, London. Nana came to NZ and accompanied granddad back as a war bride on long trip y a NZ Hospital ship, arriving NZ early 1919. Dad was born 19 March 1919 and served 2 NZ Div, 3rd Echelon 1940 To 1945.

  • Arthur George Dennis - My grandfather.....(my Mothers Father) He was born in Port Levy NZ in 1894. He died in 1943 in Rangiora, ChCh NZ and is buried in the Rangiora Ashley Street Methodist Cemetary.
