I never actually met you as you passed away before I was born, But I am so proud to call myself your grand daughter. You have been an inspiration to me. When ever I feel like life is just too hard, I think about the hardship that you endured during World War 1 and tell myself that whatever I am going through it is nothing compared to what you went through. I am also so grateful that you were able to return home. At the setting of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them.
