  • Wow what a brave man you were. Twice wounded in the Gallipoli campaign. You managed to get to a hospital ship by nightfall and get to Cairo eventually where you died from your wounds. You were extremely lucky your brother Stan arrived shortly after your death to arrange your gravestone so we know where you are buried. Fondly remembered by the family for over 100 years. Thanks for your ultimate sacrifice. NZ lost a brave man on 21st August 2015.
