    Mr. B. J. Hanlen of 106 Crawford road, has been advised that his brother, Rifleman Arthur Hanlen, of the “Trents,” was killed in action on September 24th. Rifleman Hanlen, who is a member of a Napier family, was employed at the Tomoana freezing works, and visited Gisborne with the Hawke’s Bay representative football team three or four years ago Public - Lorraine Mona - Researcher - 19 May 2023 - ROLL OF HONOR.
