  • Remember Grandad Jack as a sweet gentle old man who drank a lot of tea and played the button accordion. He rode his 28inch black bicycle to go places, and had a wonderful box of offcuts that we used as blocks to play with. Never talked about his war days, but had a huge collection of WWI books - I think he donated them to the RSA.
