Three male patients are posed in two hospital beds, each bed has additional male patients sitting either side. Standing behind are two nurses and four male staff. Inscription on verso reads: "What do you think of our happy family? Room 12, Ward 2, Oatlands Park, Feb. 18th, 1917.
