    Admitted to No 2 Australian Stationary Hospital, Tel el Kebir, 8 May 1916; discharged to duty, 11 May 1916.
    Embarked Alexandria, 30 May 1916; disembarked Devonport, England, 9 June 1916.
    Admitted to General Hospital, Tidworth, 23 July 1916 (suspect case); discharged on furlough, 27 December 1916.
    Admitted to No 2 NZ General Hospital, Walton-on-Thames, 10 January 1917 (several operations on ear: injury caused by horse kick to the head); transferred to NZ Convalescent Hospital, Hornchurch, 25 July 1917. Taken on strength, NZ Command Depot, Codford, 27 July 1917; on leave until 11 August 1917.
    Classified 'Unfit' and placed on NZ Roll, 29 October 1917.
    Marched in to NZ Discharge Depot, Torquay, 3 December 1917.
