    Found guilty, 15 October 1916, of being absent without leave, 6 am to 9.30 pm, 13 October: awarded forfeiture of 21 days' pay, and 1 day's pay by Royal Warrant.
    Admitted to No 1 Field Ambulance, 1 July 1917 (influenza); transferred to No 1 Australian Casualty Clearing Station, 4 January 1917; to No 2 Australian General Hospital, Wimereux, 7 January 1917; to No 1 Convalescent Depot, Boulogne; discharged to Base Details, 16 February 1917; attached to strength of NZ Base Depot, Etaples, 21 February 1917.
