Embarked on board HMT 'Ivernia' from Alexandria, Egypt, and proceeded overseas, 26 July 1916; disembarked Southampton, England, marched in to Sling Camp, taken on strength 5th (Reserve) Battalion, New Zealand Rifle Brigade, and posted to 'A' Company, 7 August 1916.
    Proceeded overseas to France, l5 November 1916.
    Disembarked and marched in to New Zealand Infantry and General Base Depot, Etaples, France, 16 November 1916. Taken on strength 1st Battalion, New Zealand Rifle Brigade, and posted to 'A' Company, in the field, 8 December 1916.
