  • Albert was my Great grandfather. He was born in England. I think he went by the name of Challacombe-King. He was a cousin to Newton King and Sir Truby King, so my Grandmother told me. Albert lived in New Plymouth, moving to Nelson at some time after his children were born. He was interested in sports which promoted good health, such as weight lifting. He had 6 children. He lived in the War Veterans Home in Levin and is buried in Wellington, at the Karori Cemetry I think. Memories from my Nanna.
