  • Dearest Granddad
I am doing some research this week on your Chinese father's lineage and I had to visit you through your page here to acquire some information. I think of you a lot and I am grateful to be your granddaughter. Although I did not have the chance to meet you, doing this genealogy research has brought me close to you and your father. I thank you for your contribution to World War II and the records you left of your wartime journey that allow me to know you a little bit better. You are my hero and I love you dearly. Your Granddaughter, Paugata Makerita Anae-Fesolai.

  • Honoring you my dearest granddad today as the Nation pays tribute to ANZAC day, honoring all of you our brave soldiers who devoted your lives to protecting our freedom. It is indeed an honor for me as your granddaughter to have such an amazing piece of history of your service to WW1 that you left behind. Honoring your country and offering your life to this great cause is beyond measure. I absolutely honor you my hero. I only wish i had the opportunity to know you in this life. However, from the bottom of my heart I thank you for your commitment to tell the story of your war journey that has helped me to know you better. There are no one alive to help me know you but your stories that I now have has helped me come closer to you. Granddad your legacy lives on with your three great grandchildren and one great great grandchild currently serving and offering their lives to protect the freedom

  • Thank you granddad for your sacrifice for something extra ordinary, your decision to contribute in giving us a free country to live and enjoy was courageous. Your love and selfless act has shown through your actions and going to the unknow; the places you never knew was beyond belief. I love reading your Honorable Record. Thank you for giving me such a great father, your son, Anae Pita Roberts-Ah Sue, he was an amasing and a great dad and I truly believe he had your attributes. Today I started this tribute for you, but all those years at this time of rembering you and all those who gave their lives and services for their county, I always remember you and extremely proud of you granddad. You gave me, your great grandchildren and future generations a beautiful free country to love and appreciate. I love you dearly. Your granddaughter.
