  • A great man who came to New Zealand in search of a better life, and a few short years later enlisted in the NZEP in the Machine Gunners Corp to fight for his old country and his new home. He was a man who endured no matter what life threw at him, working his hardest despite the disabilities life presented him with. He was a true gentleman, and a 'gentle man' who was greatly respected by his family and all that knew him. A wonderful kind and patient grandfather who will never be forgotten by his seven grandchildren.
