Served at Egypt (1914-1915) & Gallipoli (1915). Wounded in action - 8 May 1915 - at Gallipoli. Invalided, from Egypt to New Zealand, aboard SS 'Tahiti'- arriving at New Zealand 11 September 1915. Discharged from the NZEF 20 May 1916.
