  • Son of Trevor Lumsden Millar and Marion Takatowi Millar (nee Clendon).

    Husband of Marjorie Alice Millar.

    Attested for service with No 7 Northern Battalion, National Military Reserve in WW2 10 July 1940 but the enlistment was cancelled as by that time he was 46 years and overage.

    Trevor Millar lived in Clendon house until he died in 1966. Following his death, his wife Marjorie Millar sold the house and most of the contents to the New Zealand Historic Places Trust.

    Photos taken by Auckland Museum volunteer photographer John Halpin show his Medical Tin Trunk used by Miller during his time as a medic in WW1.

    Trevor spent his spent his final years living at Clendon House in Rawene. His wife, Marjorie sold the property to the New Zealand Historic Places Trust in 1972. The home was renovated and is now open to the public.
