  • My Great Uncle William John Holmes lost his life at age 24 on 8th August 1915 at Gallipoli and is remembered at the Chanuk Bair memorial. I thank him and all those who served with him in sacrificing their lives in defense of what was believed right at the time. I have nothing but admiration and respect for him and those he served with. Thank You.
