    " Monday 7th of April 1919 - Got word from Base records today to say that my old cobber who left NZ with me, Alf Barlow was killed in Nov."

  • My Grandfather George McLaren mentions Alf Barlow in his war diary (D1 - P12) - Tuesday Dec the 7th 1915 ... as arrived on Gallipoli. Both men were in the 5th reinforcements.
