  • I am in awe of you. To have volunteered, not just for one, but for two Wars. Hindsight is great, but truly what were you thinking?
    However, I’m proud that when you did come back from WW I, you looked out for your Mum and the two girls. Hid yourself away, prospecting in the peace and tranquility of Central.
    My dad, Danny, was so upset when he lost the ring you gave him. He admired you so much, as I do now.
    Do know that you are not forgotten, your courage and kindness are still respected.
