    Admitted to 1st Australian Casualty Clearing Station, 1 February 1917 (bronchitis); transferred to No 3 Canadian General Hospital, Boulogne, 8 February 1917; to No 7 Convalescent Depot, 17 February 1917; to NZ Base Depot, Etaples, 24 February 1917; rejoined 2nd Auckland Bn, unit, in the field, 13 March 1917.
    Detached to No 1 NZ Light Trench Mortar Battery, 23 July 1917.
