  • Great-Grandpa, James Francis Garry, was born on 11th October 1877 at Lynn, Mullingar, County Westmeath, Ireland. He married Mary Josephine (Mollie) Sheil on 23rd February 1914 at the Gainstown Catholic Chapel, Mullingar, Westmeath, Ireland. They immigrated to New Zealand aboard the RUAHINE. Steamship Line: The New Zealand Shipping Company Limited, Departed: London, England on 19 March 1914. Destination port: Wellington, New Zealand. Great-Grandpa died on 24th July 1951 at Newmarket, Auckland, New Zealand. He is buried at Waikumete Cemetery, block J, Section 6, no 31. SOLDIERS' PORTION. Love and thoughts are with him on ANZAC day. xxx
