    • Moeraki then transhipped to "Mooltan" at Sydney for Suez. AWMM
    • George played for King county against Wairarapa at Te Kuiti in 1922, the first match King Country ever played. He played further matches for them in 1924 and 1926. His two sons George and Bill also represented King Country after WW2. In 1949 while representing Waikato, Bill was selected for the All Blacks on their tour of South Africa playing nine games.     • George was discharged as unfit for War Service on account of illness in 1919. However he enlisted with the army again in May 1940. He would have been around 50 but gave his age as 39 years and 296 days. Public - Ian Banks - Researcher - 5 August 2018 - Research
