    Private J. Irwin, reported to have died of wounds, was a brother of Mr John Irwin, of Mangapapa, and had a good many friends in this district. He enlisted at Wairoa, where he was contracting, and left New Zealand about 12 months ago. His death is reported to have occurred at the Third Stationary Hospital. Boulogne on May 7.
