  • In loving memory and with the greatest respect for Norman Bridgeman, my Grandfather, and his brother Arthur, from Durham Rd, Inglewood, Taranaki.

    Norman was my mother's father who served with his brother Arthur. My mother always said that Norman was shot in the chest and returned from war. Although Norman recovered from his injuries, he had health problems until he died at age 60. His brother Arthur was killed in Flanders when he stepped on a landmine.

  • In loving memory of my great uncle Norman who gave his life that we should live in a free world.He was my Nana's [Mabel Laurence nee Bridgeman]'s brother, who died along with his brother Arthur.She never forgot him and we respect his bravery and courage to fight for his country and are sad he lost his life so young.
