  • Uncle Charlie, after 50 years I still have fond memories of visits to your home in Titirangi. I Remember well your kindness and patience to me as a young child, playing in your stables and watching your horses frolic in the paddock. I have treasured your War Medals given me so long ago. I have them with me now and pay tribute to your effort. On this special day, I ponder on what trials you endured and the events you participated in to earn them. Your Great Nephew, Grant
