  • According to Luxford, Corporal Jermy was buried at 'Flat Iron Corpse, near Bazen-Petit, France.

    Joined Wellington Infantry Bn, Gallipoli, 9 June 1915.
    Admitted to 1st Australian Casualty Clearing Station, 26 July 1915 (diarrhoea); transferred to Field Ambulance, Indian Expeditionary Force, Mudros, 28 July 1915; to 24th Casualty Clearing Station, Mudros, 12 August 1915; rejoined Bn, Gallipoli, 23 August 1915.
    Transferred to Machine Gun Details, Mudros, 12 September 1915.
    Disembarked Alexandria, 28 December 1915 (general Gallipoli evacuation).
    Transferred to No 2 Machine Gun Company, Ismailia, 1 March 1916.
    Embarked Egypt to join the British Expeditionary Force, France, 6 April 1916.
    Appointed Lance Corporal, 22 April 1916.
    Admitted to No 3 NZ Field Ambulance, 9 August 1916 (otitis media); discharged to unit, 12 August 1916.
