  • Only son of Sarah Jane and George Edmund Simpson. Husband of Amelia Sophia (nee Streeter) they married on the 15 August 1916. His eldest daughter, Joan Amelia Simpson was born in 1917 whilst Kenneth was serving on the Western Front.

    He attested with a birth date 21 June 1894, BDM and family give another date, 22 June 1893.

    Before enlistment Kenneth was working as a Warehouseman with Adams Limited in Christchurch.
