    Admitted to 37th Casualty Clearing Station, 23 March 1917; transferred to No 11 General Hospital, Camiers, 26 March 1917 (pyrexia, unknown origin: severe); to No 6 Convalescent Depot, Etaples, 31 March 1917; to Base Depot, Etaples, 2 April 1917; rejoined Tunnelling Company, 29 April 1917.
    Admitted to 24th General Hospital, Etaples, 25 August 1917 (abscess, right eye); discharged to Base Depot, 5 September 1917.
