    Palmer recruit. Served at Ostend 22-23 April 1918 with MLs - awarded the Croix de Guerre also awarded the CGM for his work in the Motor Boats - served with Batey & Fox - medals in Museum's collection reported as serving in RNVR in September 1918 AWMM
