    Posted to Pioneer Bn, 29 December 1916.
    Proceeded overseas, 1 February 1917.
    Proceeded to Egypt, 14 January 1918, transferred to Rarotongan Company, 5 March 1918.
    Admitted to 33rd Casualty Clearing Station, Jaffa, 27 July 1918; transferred to 47th Stationary Hospital, Gaza, 28 July 1918 (malaria); transferred to 24th Stationary Hospital, Kantara, 30 July 1918; discharged to Aotea Convalescent Home, Heliopolis, 12 August 1918.
    Admitted to 2nd Australian General Hospital, 25 August 1918 (influenza, improving); transferred to 14th Australian General Hospital, 25 August 1918 (sandfly fever: doing well); to 18th Desert Mounted Column Rest Camp, 16 September 1918; rejoined unit, 30 October 1918.
