  • He was the son of Matthew & Isabella DAVIDSON (nee Sutherland), of Turua, Thames Valley. He was the oldest out of their five children.

    On the 26th June 1919, he married Gwendoline McINNES at the Waipu Presbyterian Church. She was the daughter of Dan & Annie McInnes, of North River, Waipu. They had one son – Donald Matthew DAVIDSON. Public - Sandra - Researcher - 5 December 2018 - Waipu Museum

    DAVIDSON, Norman Sutherland (First World War vet). On July 11, 1985, at a private hospital (after a short illness); aged 91 years. Loved father of Don & Clare, loved grandfather of Wayne & Glennice (Munday), loved great grandfather of Jansen, Christopher and Jacob. Privately cremated. Communications to 229 Northbridge, Akoranga Drive, Northcote. Don & Clare invite all friends & relatives to the lounge at Northbridge to pay their last respects to Norman tomorrow (Saturday) at 1 pm.
