  • Dear Grandad, I'm so sad that I never got to meet you but I know we share I love classical music so that's a contact point through the ether. I do wish I could've talk to you about your world one experiences because it interests me so much. All I know of you of what I've learned from mum and my grandmother but I can imagine your war experiences were something you couldn't share with them. What we know now of what you guys went through, explains a lot. When I look at your photo, I think we would've been friends. Love you, Melanie
