  • Thank you for serving our country NZ well. Thank you for putting your life aside and going to war for us. You must have been a very brave man to do what you did. I know you got the Victoria Cross for your bravery. I'm so glad you came back from war and had my father, Arthur Harold Paterson. Who then had me. Am so glad I got to know you Granddad. Always remembered. Always in my heart. Love your Granddaughter, Julie Paterson.
