  • Robert Powell was my Grandfather, I visited him with my father George Laurence Sinclair Powell many times at Waitati north of Dunedin ; We lived at Mosgiel 12 miles south of Dunedin. My father was the only one of 3 siblings to keep in contact. Robert was well known as a Master bricklayer and his most accomplished achievement was the building of the Roslyn Woollen Mills chimney, Owen S. Powell
