    Driver Norman Leslie Knight, of the Artillery, killed in action, was the only son of Mr. J. Knight, of St. John’s Avenue, Epsom, and late of Woodside, Hamilton. He was born at Palmerston North, and educated at Hamilton and St. John’s Collegiate School, Onehunga. After leaving school he was two years in the Bank of Australasia, Hamilton, afterwards taking up a sheep and cattle station at Whangarei, where he remained until he enlisted, in May, 1916.
