    Wounded in action, 31October 1917 (gun shot wound, left thigh); transferred by Hospital Train to 45th Stationary Hospital, 1 November 1917; transferred to 44th Stationary Hospital, 2 November 1917; to 27th General Hospital, Abbassia, 3 November 1917; to Aotea Convalescent Hospital, Heliopolis, 23 November 1917; discharged to duty, 6 December 1917.
